Privacy notice
Your information
How the information you send through this website is collected, used and kept.

Who we are
Blackhorn Construction Limited is the data controller for the information collected through this website. That means we decide why the information is held and how it is used.
The company's registered office and company number are not listed on this page yet. Please use the contact form for any data protection request.
What we collect
When you send the enquiry form we collect the name, email address and message you provide, plus the optional telephone number, property postcode, budget range and preferred contact method, and the type of work you select.
We do not ask for, and do not want, any special category information such as health data. Please leave it out of your message.
Why we hold it
Your information is used to reply to your enquiry, to understand the project you are describing, and to keep a record of the conversation if the work goes ahead.
The lawful basis is our legitimate interests in responding to a business enquiry you have chosen to send us. We do not use your information for automated decision making or profiling.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while we are dealing with your project and for as long afterwards as we need them for our records. Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted once they are no longer needed.
Who can see it
Only the company. Enquiries are stored in this website's database and are visible only to staff signed in to the private admin area.
We do not sell your information, share it for marketing, or add you to a mailing list. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics services on this site.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies and runs no third-party tracking scripts.
The private staff sign-in area keeps a session in the browser so staff stay signed in. Visitors who never sign in have no such session, and no cookie is set for ordinary browsing of these pages.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to it being used. You can also ask us to restrict how it is used.
To make a request, use the enquiry form and mark your message 'data request'. We will need enough information to identify you before we act on it.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. You can also raise it with us first.
Changes to this notice
If the way we handle information changes, this page will be updated and the date below will change.
